About Atomic Lamp Shades

Hi,

My lamp shades are made of the same fibreglass once used by the fabulous, creative designers of the 1940's and 1950's. 

Following is information on dimensions for lamp & ceiling shades, finial choices, lamp fittings and electrics.

Shades for Lamp Bases:

Tiered lamp shades work well with all contemporary, retro, mid century influenced lamp bases, and are a great choice for floor lamps.

• Recommended Shade dimensions for your Lamp Base: 

• Shade Height

              7 to 9" (18cm-25cm)

• Shade Diameters
• Small Base - 10” or 12” (25-30cm)
• Medium Base - 14” or 16” (35-38cm) 
• Large Base - 16 " (40cm)            
• Floor Lamp - 18” or 20"  (45-50cm)  

Pendant Shades:

Atomic tiered pendant shades are ideal lighting where contemporary, classic 50's, retro and mid century rooms are sought. 

Large pendants placed over dining tables, smaller shades grouped together over island benches, in living rooms or hallways for a pop of colour and in bedrooms.

shades can be customised to your preference.

• Recommended Shade Heights & Diameters for Pendants:
• Height 9” to 10”  (23-26cm)
• Diameters Small Rooms 14” to 16”  (35-41cm)        
• Diameters Large Rooms 18”  20”  (45-50cm)

Diffusers for Pendants:

 A lampshade diffuser is designed to sit in the bottom of a ceiling pendant light shade to distract your eye from the light bulb. Available in the follower sizes.

Atomic finials attached to the top of a lamp shade brings an unexpected pop to your shade.
